Khorossani part silk paisley design rug (186 x 126cm)

This is an original and curious rare rug of uncertain origin but believed to be that of Khorossan from a short lived workshop. It could be the weavers were actually Balouch.

The fine rug has silk highlights but in some areas the blue ground has become worn.
